Companies Act 2006

The Companies Act 2006, superseding the Companies Act 1985, has finally staggered to its feet. The Act is the longest that has ever appeared on the UK statute book and has made radical changes to everyday corporate procedures and transactions. We have taken considerable trouble to ensure that we are fully conversant with this hugely complex statute and to implement the changes it has made to our core business.

Under the Act, we can help with:

  • board minutes and filing at Companies House
  • going from public to private
  • going from private to public
  • increases in share capital
  • minority shareholder issues
  • removal of a director
  • share structures
